The Post-Game Surge, and How to Avoid It

• A few thousand people request rides within roughly twenty minutes of the final whistle or last out.
• Rideshare pricing spikes hard in that window — it's textbook surge conditions: concentrated demand, fixed supply, everyone at once.
• A pre-booked flat rate isn't affected by that, which is the main practical argument for arranging your ride in advance rather than opening an app in a stadium concourse.
